I have been monetized!
I have just now received an email from YouTube informing me that UMG has claimed copyright to the music for "Torino 2006:Blinding Lights" Very fortunately, they view it as counterproductive to take videos like mine down, when they can instead have YouTube slap advertisements next to them and presumably make themselves more money off of those. They chose well when it came to videos too; "Blinding Lights" is my most popular. I don't mind so long as the damn thing stays up.
Have submitted two more job applications this weekend; most now find more jobs to apply for and write my research paper, which, ironically, is about audiovisual streaming. Perhaps I can make use of the email as a source... |
